Start, stop and retry

How the queue controls change each job’s state.

1“Start” starts the queue

Press “Start” to render the first “Pending” scene. The queue continues with the next waiting scene after it finishes.

2“Stop” interrupts rendering

The main “Stop” button stops the queue and the active render. Other waiting scenes stay “Pending”.

3Stop one waiting scene

Use “Stop” in the “Actions” column of a “Pending” row to change it to “Stopped”. This scene is kept in the table but is no longer waiting to render.

4“Retry” puts a job back in line

Use “Retry” on a row with status “Stopped” or “Error”. For a row with status “Done”, use “Render again”. If the queue is stopped, then press “Start”; an active queue can pick up the scene automatically.

5Reset the whole queue

With the queue stopped, use the reset button beside “Start” and confirm in the system dialog. The scenes remain in the table and return to “Pending”, with progress reset to zero.
